One of my favourite animals are lynxes. I like them, because they’ve got beautiful fur and cute ears.

Lynxes have got red, grey and white soft fur. They’ve got four long strong legs and a short tail, long ears with black tufts and a dark muzzle. Lynxes have normally got orange, brown or green eyes and whiskers. They can weight about 15 kilograms. They’ve also got very strong paws and big claws.

Lynxes can swim, climb, run or jump very well. They don’t have a lot of enemies.

They live in forests in Europe and in the deserts of South Asia and Africa. Lynxes don’t usually live in groups. They sleep on the grass, on trees or somewhere soft enough. They eat small mammals like mice, birds, rabbits and larger animals, too.
