Rowan Atkinson

Why did I choose Rowan Atkinson? I chose Rowan Atkinson because he’s famous and funny. He played in a lot of popular movies and TV shows.

Rowan Atkinson was born in Consset, England. He was born on 6 January 1955. He had a wife called Sunetra Sastry. They got married in 1990, but they divorced in 2015. He has two children called Lily Sastry and Benjamin Atkinson. In 2014 Atkinson met a comedian Louise Ford. In December 2017 she gave the third child to Rowan Atkinson.

Rowan Atkinson attended the Durham Choristers School. That was a preparatory school. Then he went to St Bees School. After receiving top grades in science he got a place at Newcastle University, where he received a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In 1975, he continued his education and got the degree of MSc in Electrical Engineering at The Queen’s College in Oxford.

Rowan Atkinson has a father, a mother and three brothers. One is Paul. He died when he was a baby. Rodney is an economist. The other brother is Rupert. His father was a farmer and director. Now he’s a businessman. His mother is Ella May. She was born as Ella May Bainbridge. His parents got married on 29th June, 1945.

In March 2001 Rowan Atkinson was on a vacation trip with his own private airplane. Suddenly, his pilot fainted. Rowan managed to keep the plane safe in the air until the pilot recovered. Then they landed safely at the Nairobi Wilson Airport.

Rowan Atkinson is an electrical engineer. He’s also an actor. He’s a film, theatre and TV actor. He’s famous because he plays in a lot of movies and television shows, for example Mr. Bean, Not the Nine O’Clock News, and Bean. He’s also a producer and a screenwriter.
