Book Description:
Good Girl, Bad Blood is the second book in Holly Jackson’s thrilling series, continuing the story of Pippa Fitz-Amobi, the protagonist from A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. This time, Pip has no intention of investigating any more cases. Instead, she focuses on her podcast, where she shares the events of her previous investigation. However, when a young man, Jamie Reynolds, goes missing in her town, Pip realizes she can’t just stand by.
As the police fail to take the case seriously, Pip decides to take matters into her own hands and start investigating. Her search for answers leads her to shocking revelations and connections, unraveling secrets that run deep within the community. The story is packed with twists, suspense, and moral dilemmas as Pip grapples with how far she’s willing to go for the truth and the consequences her actions might have on those around her.
My Opinion:
I really enjoyed this book because it’s so gripping that it’s almost impossible to put down. Pip is such an interesting character—I love how brave she is and how she never gives up, even when things get tough. Holly Jackson does an amazing job of writing a story that keeps you hooked because you never know what’s coming next.
My favorite part was the ending, when everything finally comes together and Pip uncovers the truth, even though it’s nothing like anyone expected. I was really surprised by how dark and complex the mystery turned out to be. That twist is what stuck with me the most and made the story so memorable.
I’d recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries, intricate plots, and characters who aren’t afraid to go all the way to uncover the truth.
